Hey there! I'm Grazi, and I have been an educator for over 11 years. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping every child discover the joy and confidence that comes with learning to read while supporting educators with the knowledge and tools they need to make a lasting difference.

I hold a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Literacy. My work is grounded in the Science of Reading, Structured Literacy, and the Orton-Gillingham approach,
and I am deeply committed to ensuring that all students, especially those with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences, have access to evidence-based reading instruction that helps them
thrive.

I serve as a District English  Department Coordinator, where I support K–12 literacy initiatives, instructional coaching, curriculum implementation, and professional learning for educators. My greatest
joy is helping teachers grow in their practice so they can positively impact their students' lives every day.

As someone who loves languages and cultures, I believe literacy is more than learning to read; it's about opening doors, building confidence, and creating opportunities. Outside of work, you'll
usually find me reading, traveling, or spending time with my family.

I am truly honored to serve on the Decoding Dyslexia North Carolina Board of Directors. I look forward to working alongside families, educators, and fellow advocates to raise awareness about dyslexia,
champion evidence-based literacy practices, and ensure that every child has the opportunity to become a confident, successful reader.
